PTSC is looking at one-time settlements. Royalties are not likely......but if they were to get them they would be EQUIVALENT to the upfront payments they are currently getting........just spread over time and taking into account the time value of money at prevailing interest rates.
I cannot imagine a scenario where PTSC (after giving half to TPL) gets 1/2 BILLION PER YEAR.
That`s why they are searching to buy IP or a company with growth potential and REAL PRODUCT sales.
Comparisons of PTSC with companies selling product either directly or indirectly is not valid.
Thus the difficulty in reaching $5/sh.......maybe in a momentum scenario with a settlement of J3 for 9 figures and domino effect of dozens of others in rapid succession. But we may have to wait til next spring/summer for that.
