John J. Feldhaus is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm`s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Feldhaus specializes in patent litigation involving electronic and computer technologies and has been lead counsel in numerous cases on subject matter including confocal microscopy, computer power management, plasma enhanced continuous vapor deposition, dynamic random access memories and liquid crystal display technology. Mr. Feldhaus began his career as a patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 1974. He is co-author of the textbooks, ``Electronics and Computer Patent Practice`` and ``Electronics and Computer Patent and Copyright Practice,`` both published by Patent Resources Institute. Mr. Feldhaus has also lectured extensively for the Patent Resources Group.
Mr. Feldhaus graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (B.S., electrical engineering, 1970), where he conducted graduate studies in systems engineering from 1973 through 1974. He also graduated from George Mason University School of Law (J.D., with distinction, 1980).
Mr. Feldhaus is admitted to practice before the International Trade Commission, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal and Ninth Circuits, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the Virginia Bar Association.

LISA S. MANKOFSKY

Lisa S. Mankofsky is a partner in Foley`s Washington, D.C. office. A litigator experienced in both trials and arbitrations, she is a member of the firm`s IP Litigation and Distribution & Franchise Practices. Ms. Mankofsky has represented both patentees and accused infringers in patent litigation. She also has been involved in patent interferences before the United States Patent & Trademark Office. In addition, she has experience in trademark litigation. Ms. Mankofsky has also represented manufacturers in dealership termination litigation and has counseled clients concerning the drafting of agreements related to distributorship and licensing issues.
Ms. Mankofsky has authored articles in Intellectual Property Counselor (Feb. 2005) and Intellectual Property Litigation Reporter (Nov. 2004) concerning opinions of counsel as a defense to a charge of willful patent infringement in light of the en banc decision of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Knorr-Bremse Systeme Fuer Nutzfahrzeuge Gmbh v. Dana Corp. Ms. Mankofsky has also spoken on the topic of the tension between declaratory judgment jurisdiction and equitable estoppel and laches to the Chemical Practice Group at the 1999 Spring meeting of the American Intellectual Property Law Association. Ms. Mankofsky also authored a chapter on drafting termination notices in the Commerce Clearing House (CCH Incorporated) treatise Product Distribution Law Guide (1999).
Ms. Mankofsky is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the litigation and intellectual property sections of the American Bar Association, the Federal Circuit Bar Association, the Maryland Bar Association, and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
Ms. Mankofsky graduated from the State University of New York - Binghamton (1983), Phi Beta Kappa, and the University of Michigan Law School (J.D., 1986).
Ms. Mankofsky is admitted to practice in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia before the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Connecticut, and the Eastern District of Texas, as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
