I like the idea of updates from the courtroom, should a trial be necessary. However, I think it is worth noting that both sides present a case to the judge and /or jury. So, one day`s update can be very negative due to the presentor and another day can be very positive for the same reason. It depends on who is slanting the discourse that day.

In the end, the judge and/or jury has to cut through the arguments and make a decision. The daily updates may be more harmful and certainly carry more emotional swings than might be necessary, IMO....especially for those of us with less understanding of the process.
