The MarshallNewsMessenger.com is the web portal for a small local paper in Marshall Texas that covers the cases in the Marshall venue. The reporters there actually sit in the courts and report on a daily basis via their web portal for large cases like the recent TiVo vs Echostar case. During the TiVo trial, the MarshallNewsMessenger was the first outlet to report on what took place in the court room, and when other media outlets reported, they used these folks as their source. I don’t think it is anyone’s intention, at least I know it is not mine, to use these guys as a PR firm for Patriot. My intention was to get this case on their radar so that they hopefully delegate the resources to cover the TPL vs. Fujitsu case. This way we have a window into the courtroom should it go to court. I don’t believe our PR firm would be there reporting the daily events….would they?
