That`s how I read it as well - having to do with up-front processing (first to file) and potentially killing any ``prior art`` disputes. No impact on us/PTSC. We were first to file.

I doubt the new laws, if past, would be ``retroactive`` and would only impact into the future. However, I could see where the doing away with prior art could be adopted retroactively, and this could (if truly applicable) be to our benefit (i.e., what would be the basis of dispute by an infringer?).

But I KNOW nuttin`!
