I read an article over a year ago that said if you haven`t started your DVD collection yet, don`t start now. Blu-ray or HD-DVD ( like VHS vs. Betamax ) will be the future. If I remember correctly Sony, Disney, HP and I think Dell have committed to the Blu-ray route. Toshiba is making some of the HD-DVD players.

I have no idea how this might affect PTSC.
