I took another look - It doesn`t link Turley directly to any Corporate seats. This is linked to a developers conference. His Bio doesn`t mention ARM, so he may have been paid by them to come in and speak.

Panel Discussion: Am I Ready for a 32-Bit Micro?
Presented by Silicon Insider, Jim Turley - Moderator
Room 204
This panel pits 16-bit vendors against 32-bit vendors. There is a lot of anecdotal evidence that 16-bit users are migrating to 32-bit processors, but is the death of the 16-bit CPU being greatly exaggerated? Makers of 16-bit chips say they`re perfect for most applications and 32-bitters are overkill. The 32-bit vendors think the change in inevitable, and the sooner users switch, the better. Who`s right and who`s peddling snake oil? This lively panel promises to separate some of the hype and myth from the reality of this important engineering and business decision.``
I thnk we`re going to have to go a bit farther back in time to see if there was a direct association.
