Maybe that is part of the advantage to being a first level signer... you don`t/won`t have to pay royalties on going. However at the SHM it was stressed that the energy and money and people and problems with tracking/enforcing payments was not worth it. Better to get the money now and do something with it. A bird in the hand.... etc.
