Although this blog claims that Finisar asked for 3% of gross sales ($1.65 billion), this doesn`t seem correct. DirecTV`s most recent 10-K shows revenues of $13.16 billion. The ask would then be about 12.5% and the settlement about .6% ($79 million divided by $13.16 billion) of revenues.
