While a nice gesture from management in light of the new direction of the company, ptsc has no business continuing down this road. Investor value is better served if management continues to build its war chest and grow the business of the company, whether that be through continued licensing fees or acquisitions.

Heck BLK, traded on the NYSE, just now issued a quarterly, after Merrill Lynch just merged, forming a company that now oversees a trillion dollars in securities.

BlackRock Sets Quarterly Dividend

NEW YORK (AP) - Investment management firm BlackRock Inc. said Thursday that its board has declared a quarterly cash dividend of 42 cents per share on its common stock.

The company will pay the dividend on June 23 to shareholders of record on June 7.
