I am a long time PTSC holder and have learned a great deal
from most of the people on this board. Thank you all. This is my first time responding.
When the statement was made that dozens of companies were in negotiations for early deals ``discounts`` and because Sony was left off the court case. Wouldn`t we have expected that Sony would be one of the dozens of first time companies in negotiations. There must be dozens of other companies that are still negotiating or settling the dicounted deal. Didn`t latest PR state that the early round negotiations have become intense. When they said the discounts would end at the SHM, isn`t it probable that they meant for companies that were not negotiating the discounted deals.
My thoughts are that we will see many more settlements soon. If Fujitsu payed $30M, I think Sony will be around $50-$60M. I believe if PTSC would have released a more positive pr from Sony now then yes the SP would rise, and then tumble back probably to a $1.00. The negative viewed press pr is a brilliant move on PTSC`s part to delay the SP run-up for the Sony deal until after they have a chance to buy back shares at a lower rate. When PTSC`s PR for the Sony deal is released we will have other companies that have settled to anounce and probably the J3 that will settle out of court for 75-125M each. Put all this good news happening at very near the same time how high will the SP go? Then there is no stopping the jump to NASDAQ and a very strong position to liscence the 100`s of infringers that remain at higher rates with not much threat of actually taking them to trial. All IMHO.
