Currently, DOW down about 180 pts, NAS down about 45, S&P down about 21. When looking for reasons, it may be that simple - traders dumping PTSC (perhaps with some profit) to gather cash to offset margin calls elsewhere. Better to dump this to cover margin than to suffer the bigger bite, especially when it`s reasonable to assume the markets will bounce back tomorrow (at least to a degree).
This coupled with the clear indication that the Sony deal ``ain`t that big`` suggests a probable excuse for this unexpected action. Nice thing is, they`ll probably be back. I also suspect some shorting to capitalize on post-news pull-back (though I would think that THAT is already done).
But I KNOW nuttin`!
