And someone more astute please straighten out whoever it was that claimed that this is all ``free``. As I understand these type options, those exercising must pay the exercise price, plus any taxes on any gains to current price, and these values must be paid at the time of exercise.

It`s still comforting that they have exercised. This, I would think, is timed to avoid greater tax liability if they were to exercise at a later date at a higher ``current`` PPS.
