Just guessing, but the ``letter`` issue could just be a single brokerage issue not related to PTSC in general -- based solely on the fact that other brokerages have not issued any known problems.
Since I have been in the identity theft panic mode previously, I wasted no time in contacting Charles Schwab and eTrade this am. Niether had any information on a problem with PTSC and said they would let me know. I use Schwab`s ``Signature Service`` and they have been very good at alerting me of events when asked to do so. I find their telephone service people to be well trained and responsive.
You are right, we will have to wait to see what developes, if anything.
