Excellent points in regard the shrinking dollar, compound interest, cash available for investing in other companies and technologies, dividends and buybacks. How many more positives can we attribute to lump sum payments? Does anyone think that if we got a paltry upfront payment like Casio from HP and Fujitsu, but received the balance in royalties over ten years, that the stock price would have responded the way it did to 2 bucks. I don`t. Yes, I know it has retraced but it would have even with a royalty arrangement...having had no deals for 2 months. I would argue the market has given us a higher market cap because of the stability cash in the bank has generated for a company that beforehand could only survive on the tails of Swartz. If you are confidant that we will see more licensing deals, I also think the divi`s make excellent sense. Thank you David Pohl and Biajj!
