Just arrived home from work and noticed the emails regarding earthquakes here in San Diego.

First thanks for your service. I have son in the Marines and an Annapolis grad in the Navy. I was an Army grunt a longgg time ago.

San Diego (knock on wood has been blessed by God).

Great weather (not today) and the major quake zones pass to our east into Imperial Valley. In the 41 years I have lived here we have felt many tremblors but those have orginated far from the city. Our most active fault is the Rose Canyon fault which comes in from the Ocean by LaJolla runs south down 5 goes by MCRD through downtown and then back into the Ocean. Last time it moved they estimate at over 500 years ago.

Now saying all that I pray that I have not put the hex on my fair city.

marc

p.s. thanks for the ot info
