My last posting was tongue-in-cheek. You know...a joke, a light-hearted moment.

I'm so bloody giddy with mirth I'm actually imagining that Brown & Petke might be diligently repairing damage done by past custodians of our investment. Even if there's the slightest glimmer of hope that they're on the right track to finding their way out of the elephant-sized hole the company's been in, I give them every encouragement and support.

Frequent, timely communication is a key since in this case, historical facts have destroyed trust. Thousands of successful CEO's accept shareholder relations as a vital function and regularly communicate material events to stakeholders without compromising confidentiality or competitive advantage. Excessive secrecy suggests sinister circumstances. (try saying the last sentence 3 times fast without spitting on the person in front of you)
