Message: MEO through my eyes

Sunseeker -

The real beauty of this board is that everyone can openly share their opinion and I appreciate that you have the courage to share your view of MEO's outlook.

I have to disagree with your perspective of MEO's future. While it may be true that MEO will turn in to a NG play rather than an oil company (yet to be determined), I still believe that the share price will be measured in dollars rather than cents.

My belief is based on the speculation that the partners in this venture have access to more information than we do and that they are in this thing for a far greater return than $.20/share. I find it especially positive that Blackrock is involved and I think that they will be able to provide needed capital. Note that they are able to purchase 10% from AUL and 5% from MEO based on a fair market valuation of the underlying resources. I would think that they would not make such a purchase unless they felt that they would get a tremendous return on their capital.

That infusion of cash may provide enough capital to tide the project over until the stream of revenue starts to flow. Furthermore, I still think that limited forward sales of the NG from JB#2 would provide needed capital for infrastructure.

I have to agree that it is very frustrating to not seem to have enough information to make informed investment decisions. It doesn't look like that pattern is going to change until MEO's management (actually the whole JV group) decide it is in the JV's best interests to release that information.

What that means to me is that I have to trust management's logic behind the witholding of data. Now if I don't trust them, I need to move my money elsewhere because no one should ever give money with someone they don't trust.

This is just my opinion. I may be very wrong and if the facts prove that I am I will be willing to come to this Board and provide the appropriate "mea culpa." Believe this - my investment in MEO means a great deal to my future plans. I don't take this investment lightly.
