Message: Conspiracy Theory

champagne -

You are right, it can be all to easy to fall into "conspiracy theory thinking." Yesterday I posted the following to crown_royal -

"I find your last paragraph interesting. First, you seem to imply that we didn't get a complete disclosure of the results or, to be more precise, the results that were obtained may not be the complete results.

Also, in the last part of that paragraph you state that "..makes one wonder if it flowed 250 bop 1st 8hr then it slowed to the 15 bopd and thats why it took all this time to capture 800 bo total." That is exactly what was implied in the NR and they further stated that this pattern was common in the area. What is it about that which "makes you wonder?"

So, Crown_royal's posting suggested (to me) that the information that we got was not complete and your conspiracy supposition gives up a plausable reason for less than full disclosure.

Understand that I am NOT trying to create blue sky optimism and pump the SP of MEO. I'm holding until it comes to a conclusion (either measured in dollars or a few pennies). As I stated in my last e-mail to Bowhunter, I trying to understand what is happening and why it is happening so that I can make informed decisions.

There has been an almost paranoid desire by MEO to shield the facts from their competitors. And, that is probably a great idea since the O/G business is full of very large sharks. Living in Florida, I know what happens when sharks smell blood in the water - something gets eaten.

Given that context, why should MEO give out the good news? That would be like chumming the water.

I would sure like one of you technical guys to explain (for us laymen) what options MEO could be employing due to fractured nature of the resource (see my e-mail to Bowhunter that was posted today)?
