It seems to me that some people on this board are a bit naive about the way junior exploration companys are run. These companies tend to put out information for just two reasons....

1) Because they want to release positive news and increase the share price.

2) Because they have to due to regulations.

Every small explorco is concerned about what and when they tell their shareholders because when they tell their shareholders something, they tell the whole world.

This is especially true of companies that are trying to consolidate their land position or figure out the geology in a given area. MEO has been doing both. Trying to figure out the geology of the area so they can make informed decisions about land aquisition. They want to make sure they have as large a land package as they can get without waisting our money on useless pasture.

There are other companies interested in the area and every one of them is playing their cards close to their chest. No one wants to give information away to their competitors. This is normal for all small explorcos no matter what they are looking for...metals or oil.

Meo has limited funds and I believe they are using them properly. They are aquiring land around their existing plays and they have begun hitting substantial amounts of oil and gas.

They haven't found the elephant yet (as far as we know) but they seem to be hot on it's trail. This play has changed from a spec play to an investment because they have found oil and gas and they are putting it into production. (The elephant part is still spec though)

There have been several very positive NRs during the last few weeks and the share price has doubled in the last couple of months, so if you are playing the small cap exploration companies on the venture exchange and you are not happy with MEO or it's management, then by all means sell your shares and look elsewhere....but don't expect to find a small, early stage exploration company with large upside potential that will treat it's share holders like insiders. It's just not going to happen.

Regards, Muffles
