I find your theory very interesting. I have struggled with what appears to be the slow pace of JB#2. But you are so right. If the word was out that MEO have found the structure that "linked" the hydrocarbons in Morgan County the sharks would descend posthaste. And MEO (and it's shareholders) would get pushed out out he water by the big fish.

But, if they don't log they don't have to report. If they don't report the values of the surrounding land don't go through the roof (as in a bidding war). And MEO puts together a package that supports the drilling of lots of wells.

Maybe some people are picking up shares on the cheap beause the news has been "held back" in a strategy like this. If they have the courage to buy, when so many are yelling sell, they deserve to profit well. Isn't that the essence of being a contrarion?
