Los Azule was originally owned by TNR Gold (TNR.v) - but small company decides to JV it out to Xstrata, whom then optioned it to Minera Andes after not doing anything with it.

When MAI finally drills it - they started getting crazy lengths of copper - hence the continous drilling since 2006 and results like 200m+ of close to 1%+ copper!

Now that things are valuable again - Xstrata has right to back-in 51% of MAI's 100% - leaving them with 49% - XS will pick the best region which is the Northern areas.

Small time junior TNR (funny enough, has many connections with majors - Barrick, Novagold, BHP Billiton, Northern Dynasty) - has 25% BACK IN - on the best portion so far. As well - they have 100% on a property right NEXT to Los Azules - and mineralization looks like it crosses over there too... hence the lawsuit!!

If you believe the Canaccord lead analyst Wendell Zerb in estimating LA to be worth $650 million + , then a small chunk of change in TNR would be a good idea, I mean how often do you see a small jr suing a giant like Xstrata.... they must have something good, no?
