More Evidence that Pioneer Wants to Take Over Your Vehicle

We've been following Pioneer for a while now and have published a number of articles related to their progress on head-up display (HUD) and in-car infotainment. Pioneer is making strides toward commercializing a laser-based HUD system with its partner MicroVision. The system will be capable of displaying all kinds of information for the driver, including navigation information with Augmented Reality (AR) type overlay. This is expected to be commercialized in 2012.
