The Ziggurat Property is located 20 kilometres north of Kinross-Barrick's +14 million ounce Round Mountain gold mine, 13 kilometers north of Barrick/Kinross' +1 million ounce Gold Hill Mine, and 5 kilometers south of the +3 million ounce Northumberland Mine gold property.

Mexivada staked an area flanking the south side of this major structure, along Riedel-type shears that intersect the main Ziggurat Rift, where outcrops of "Upper Plate" Paleozoic cherty sedimentary rock (Slaven Chert??) with silica veining were channel sampled by Mexivada that assayed up to 2 ppm gold.
