Here is an interesting comment from a poster at the Smart Investment web site:
......MTO does need money. They have found what they hope is a monster at Barry and are drilling like crazy and getting some fairly impressive results. They are also expanding their mill and going underground to get the higher grade ore at Bachelor Lake into production. Three substantial projects, that's big bucks.
I was talking to Ron Perry one day when the stock hit high 80s not all that long ago. He was saying how all the brokers wanted him to finance with them. His words were "they are throwing money at us". I suggested he take 10 mil or so if he could do it at around .80.
His reply to me was that they would finance when they could do it at a dollar. I didn't think it would get there on that run and suggested he take what he could get right now. I told him the stock was too high in relation to several others at that time. I specifically said, IN RELATION TO OTHERS, because let's face it, they are all way too low. He asked for an example and I told him GOZ. He said, "GOZ, they're in bloody Sweeden. Nobody gives a damn about GOZ
" Ron's a colorful guy, a good promoter, full of energy and ideas, but like so many in this business, overly optimistic IMO........
