Message: Production costs ?

I certainly expect that production costs would decline because of the lower fuel costs. Unfortunately, diesel prices have not dropped nearly as much as gasoline and I'm sure the MTO trucks burn diesel. Nevertheless, production costs generally seem to be under control, even if fuel costs go up again.

I agree that at this time the most exciting issue concerns proving up more ounces of gold in order to find out how much of an operating life the mine would have. At this point, assuming that MTO could buy many of the smaller properties in their vicinity, they have access to well over 1 million ounces. Even at the expanded production of 100K ounces per year this would already provide a life of over 10 years. Of course, if they can prove up significantly more than 1M ounces on their currently owned property, that would add even more to their evaluation.

Again, I just can't see much down-side here unless the price of gold drops consistently below $600. I think the chances of this happening are slim to none.
