The price of gold is rising rapidly today, partially because of the tough, new laws against naked short selling in the US so Metanor is bound to jump as well.

People are finally waking up to the role of gold as a safe haven in times of financial turbulence.

I hope the TSX will adopt similar tough laws against the illegal practices in the markets.
