I think a pull-back in the price of gold is certainly possible. So, a strong cash position seems like a good idea. However, I am currently mostly invested in good Canadian exploration plays which could all have excellent news within the next few weeks. In that case, a strong cash position could result in missing the boat. I guess that means I'm more of a long term than a short term investor and will ride out short term pull backs.
