Mar. 22, 2011 (Filing Services Canada) - Resources Melkior Inc. (MKR - TSX Venture), is pleased to announce the completion of a leve airborne gradient gravimetric of 681 kilometers linear on property McFaulds East of 192 kilometers square, held a 100% and located in Northern Ontario, in the James Bay lowlands.
The survey has been carried out using the exclusive Falcon airborne gravimetric ("MGA") gradient system has Fugro Airborne Surveys. Falcon AGG technology is the only gravity Gradiometer gravimetric specifically designed for use in airborne leves and thereby gravimetrie aeroportee data that it provides are the highest available resolution, with a minimum of background noise. The resultant database will be invaluable to help Melkior a delimiter of nickel-copper sulfide targets and define the area of McFaulds.
The survey data will be combined a of other data diagrams for interpretation. Data gravimetriques can if prove very useful for the exploration of nickel-copper sulphide deposits since it is recognized that several deposits of this type produce positive anomalies of gravimetrie. The leves airborne and ground already completes have identified several priority targets for massive sulfides. Leve AGG will help better define these targets and thus reduce the costs of exploration to the ground.
The property has been jalonnee in 2008 to cover a strong positive, noticeable gravimetric anomaly in regional data. These gravimetriques high values are interpreted as being related to mafic or ultramafic intrusions or the possible presence of complex lines lites mafic-ultramafic composition. The gravimetric anomaly and large intrusions which would be associated are located near construction known nickel-copper sulphides in ultramafic rocks, the Eagle Nest of Noront discovery. Mafic or ultramafic interpreted on the East Rim property intrusions could present a significant potential for cash of nickel-copper sulphide mineralization.
Eldorado property:
Melkior holds an interest of 100% in property and Eldorado, composed of 384 claims not granted by letters patent covering an area of 61,44 kilometers square. Eldorado is located a 20 kilometres southeast of the city of Timmins, Ontario, in a mining sector very active. Property is located in an entity known as the "Shaw Dome", geological a Southeast direction with a low diving Anticline to the Southeast. Shaw Dome is known for its potential for nickel associated komatiites, mineralization of VMS and mesothermal gold.
In January 2011, Melkior a complete six diamond drill holes totaling 910,8 metres to check three point electromagnetic anomalies and to respond to the requirements for statutory work to keep its rule claims. Most polls have the poured meeting and of the volcaniclastic mafic intermediates, probably of the Deloro Assembly. The presence of sediments with minor quantities of sulfide locally interlites probably explains at least two VTEM anomalies. Ultramafic rocks have been recoupees in a sector. Anomalous metals common have been obtained in two target areas (better results: 1 metre was 2200 ppm Zn, up to 863 ppm Ni, and up to 440 ppm Cu), thereof has an Assembly stratigraphic volcanic-sedimentary mixed. Anomalous gold values (best results: 3 meters has 650 ppb to's) have been obtained in two polls in the same sector. The initial values are low, however they indicate the presence of mineralization in the system, thus confirming its exploration potential.
