The visuals on the reported drill core returns are confirming a similiar environment which carried the gold values at the 1010 and ZamZam zones.
Within the gramodiortie host being explored by MKR, higher gold mineralization ratios have consistently accompanied the presence of sulphide content and the latest drill core description is again consistent with what has been returned in over 80% of the previous holes at the Carscallen project.
The gabbro encountered at the termination point for two holes past the mineralized granodiorite contact is going to be a huge factore for future deep drilling rational as the presence of this material are indications of an ultramafic intrusive environment at depth.
The outlining of a porphyry unit to the south-west of the ZamZam zone is also highly encouraging as it presence in a gold bearing tonalite host surrounding it indicates its potential for a large scale gold play at depth near the volcanic contact to the north.
Sulphide levels of up to 15% will almost guarantee gold levels in the ounces per ton in drill core if the ratios are anything like the surface sampling levels.
This area is about the most interesting of any projects outside of the immediate WTS activity as it resides in a totally unique environment
