Melkior Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: MKR) ("Melkior") is pleased to announce that, subject to the approval of the regulatory authorities having jurisdiction over its securities, it has agreed to extend to December 18, 2008 the term of 2,903,226 share purchase warrants, each one allowing its holder to purchase one additional common share of Melkior at a price of $0.25 per share. These outstanding share purchase warrants were initially going to expire on June 18, 2008.
