Commercialization of protein-based vaccines & biopharmaceuticals
The Partnering for Global Health Forum is organized by BIO Ventures for Global Health (BVGH) and the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) and sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
This international partnering meeting will bring together leaders from the biopharmaceutical industry, public and private donors, country health officials, academic research institutions, and public private partnerships to foster new collaborations to advance global health product development.
At the forefront of science and medical research, the biopharmaceutical industry is in a unique position to discover and develop innovative treatments for neglected diseases of the developing world. However, to fully advance these scientific innovations, industry must forge new, creative partnerships with public and private entities. This forum provides the opportunity for an unprecedented exchange of information and explores how we can continue to bridge the innovation, market and information gaps that currently impede significant progress.
The format and intimate nature of the conference makes this the premier partnering event, fusing industry with the broader world of global health. The Forum builds on BVGH’s efforts to address neglected diseases of the developing world by harnessing the benefits of biotech , BIO’s extensive experience and expertise in biotech and pharmaceutical partnering, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s deep expertise in the health needs of developing countries. Leveraging the combined strengths of the three entities, the meeting will further break down the barriers to industry investment in diseases of the developing world.
Additional information on the program and content of the conference will be posted here as details are confirmed over the coming weeks. Attendance will be limited and may be subject to eligibility requirements.
