It is my understanding that with the several joint ventures that NOT has negotiated, in all cases, NOT is the operator and the JV partner has agreed to spend a certain amount of cash to investigate that property. That tells me that NOT will survey or drill or whatever on these properties and the partner will pay the tab

I also recall RN stating at some point last fall, that he had four drills coming. The first two would be used to drill NOT's properties and the second two would be used to drill the joint venure properties. Someone said this last week that the third drill is there but not in use yet. I would guess they are deciding which joint venture they are going to drill first with this new one. I would also guess that both the two new drills will be used on JV properties.

The above is not a stated fact, but merely what I have gleaned from reading here and elsewhere, so I hope nobody beats on me too hard for my opinions.
