A couple of weeks ago, I posted in the SPQ forum that I was fed up with CIBC, as they refused a buy order for more shares of SPQ, saying that my mix was too concentrated on a penny stock. I asked the members of that board for their opinion on various online brokers, and came up with some good leads. I looked at several of them and found that Credential Direct seemed to offer the best value, while saving a lot on commissions compared to the banks as well.
