Discuss the various junior resource companies within the McFaulds Lake Area
JD*, appreciate many of your posts and was fairly certain that it was PRB that had dropped the option. It's good to know that I wasn't dreaming that PRB was involved and also good that there is nothing pointing to others having also poked around FNC's claims in the past. If 2 had previously failed, it just might sway any decisions made on throwing a dollar or two in FNC's direction. As far as I am aware, PRB drilled 1 hole at an unknown location (unknown to me).
Would appear that at least 3 holes on property that have been drilled based on info from the map below that has documented DDH1, DDH2, and DDH3 (very faint 1 2 & 3 within the Fancamp property outline). Not sure if any one of these was the PRB hole, although good thing for FNC these appear to have missed the anomoly. Probe had released that "Diamond drill hole FC1 intersected a thick section of felsic intrusive rocks, dominated by altered quartz feldspar porphyry (QFP) containing disseminated sulphide throughout, locally making up to 15% of the rock. Assays returned some anomalous base and precious metal values, reaching up to 744ppm Cu and 85ppb Au. The significant width of the sulphide mineralized QFP (100m), and anomalous metal values, indicates a potential for richer mineralization in the system, while geophysics indicates additional targets in the area. Unfortunately these targets could not be drilled as part of the winter program owing to a lack of water, but will be evaluated in the next phase of exploration."
Perhaps someone can comment on DDH1, DDH2, and DDH3 on the map and if they do relate to 2006 Probe drill hole name FC1.
