"I agree with all you pros about the rules of trading... but for large cap stock"
So you disagree.
Have a look at Golden Chalice Resources (GCR.V). They hit a DE-1 type of drill hole back in May of '07 and their stock went from $0.28 to $1.80 overnight and to a high of $3.93 within a few weeks. They've expanded the drilling area, found some more mineralization zones (A, B and C), yet they never found that elephant. Their stock closed on Friday at $0.70. At what point would have sold? Or would you still be holding on to it waiting for the next assay results?
What's interesting is if you compare Noront's share price to Golden Chalice, shift it over a few months to line them up and you have the exact same pattern to date for Noront. If they don't find DE-2 for the next year, how similar do you think they'll be?
No disrespect PM, but Trading Rules apply to any cap. Micro, small or large cap. As Buffet says; "Rule #1: Don't lose money. Rule #2: Don't forget Rule #1".
Cheers!
