Perhaps a little boring for some but I wanted to find out something about the Government of Ontario's mining policies. This PDF file has some useful graphs. The graph on "Security" found on page 49 is interesting with a few comments on page 50. Thank God McFaulds Lake is in Ontario.

(By the way, the survey covers some 65 jurisdictions with many countries, states, and provinces. For McFaulds' investors from other countries, this survey might provide some interesting insights.)

The survey is all about something called the "Policy Potential Index" which is basically a report card to governments on the attractiveness of their mining policy. It's not about specific mining companies but about what mining executives have said about their local government's mining policies.
