Listening to all the presidential hopefuls it seems that none of them are talking about energy. the plentiful supply of cheap energy was the foundation of US growth. That has now come to an end with no credible plans to replace or reduce.
We have not heard of conservation plans.
The governement has stood and continues in the way of development of local wells
They plan to tax oil companies! Incredible, that will help find more!
Refineries are not allowed to be built
New wells in the gulf of mexico will be very expensive and still far off.
China is moving convincingly to nuclear energy along with many countries in Europe.
The lack of energy or plans to replace it will prove to be in my opinion the largest constraint to US growth in the future.
