Although I do hold some BMK, based on the latest NR, which was summary of their recent drill program including visuals, there is not much in what was reported that makes it likely that BMK has hit any rock with Ni, Cu, or PGM values similar to NOT.

In fact, I suspect that the market regulators may have requested BMK to issue that NR due the unsual trading that was taking place. It would have served to calm down the market and eliminate any wild speculation about what sort of results that BMK may have had. The NR now makes clear what the potential of BMK's pending assys is.

However, as mentioned in Rosehill's post, what is will be more interesting for BMK is their subsequent drilling program, as this will begin to test targets generated by the refined and "reoriented" geophsyics conducted after NOT's initial discovery - when it became evident that the McFauld's area could host significant Ni-Cu-PGM mineralization. If BMK has anything significant on their properties, it is more likely that they will hit something during round #2 as they test (and re-test) new an existing targets. If nothing of significance is exposed during this new round of drilling, the results of which will not likley be known until late spring, I think then it will be time to write-off BMK's prospects, as it will be likely that by that time the have tested all of their best targets.

To be clear, although I am not a BMK fan, I am reluctant holder of a small position in BMK and will continue to hold as I think its the next round of drilling that will truly 'show BMK's hand', so to speak. The fall drilling program would have been somewhat of a rush job based on older geophysics hoping to get lucky like NOT did - and it was luck that NOT so spectacularly hit on their first holes - anyone who understands something about geology and mineral exploration will be well aware of this.

That said, BMK's latest drill results (as described in their recent NR) are encouraging and definitely help support the hypothesis that the Mc Fauld's Lake area may host multiple areas of significant and economic Ni-Cu mineralization, and this may be the most significant thing about their recent drill program. For, example, the fact that they hit sulphide mineralization over 15m on their Hornby property, which is 6 kms east of NOT's DE1, is significant to my mind.

In addition, BMK's N-25 target remains very interesting since they have not been able to explain the high EM anomaly - the recent drilling did not intersect anything that would be its cause. Any anomalies with high EM reponses are of significant interest and this anomaly, which has a 1000m stike length, remains a mystery.

Thus, although I am not expecting any spectacular assays from BMK's recent drilling, it has to be said the BMK case is far from closed, and the most exciting times for BMK, and its dubious management, are yet to come.
