"We'd all been hoping for news on Monday but now BMK is hedging and maybe Noront as well. If news was expected by the market and isn't forthcoming I wonder what pressure it will put on share prices?"

I would hazard a guess that they would expect to have their way until Wed.  Pound it down Mon. and early Tues. and then begin to cover.  If volume clamps tight though, in anticipation of news,  they could certainly get screwed.
