Discuss the various junior resource companies within the McFaulds Lake Area
Different day, same old story. The slow bleed on NOT , FNC, SPQ and PRB's share price is a little disheartening for shareholders of these McFaulds Lake stocks. It's always bleakest before the storm, I suppose. Lot's of rumours, followed up by very few facts is the best way to describe what has happened to the above stocks.
NOT, rumours of pending assay results have done nothing for holding up the share price here. Investors appear to be in show me, don't tell me mode here. If you beleive what people who took the time to phone Nemis yesterday were told, we should see partial assay results today with the rest by next Tuesday at the latest. This should take us up to Hole #20, if indeed, Nemis is speaking under the influence of truth syrum. Hole #18 apparently will be the saviour hole. I'm thinking we are at bottom or very near here, lots of upside potential on this stock currently.
FNC, I picked up a few traders yesterday and plan on picking up the rest of my trading position today. I didn't take full trader position yesterday because I'm thinking we see a final flush out this morning, followed by EM news, and then blast off to the upside on the news. Smiths sitting on his hand approach has done nothing for investors in this stock, short term. This stock has tremendous potential for early 2008, investors will be well advised to have a few shares of this stock in their portfolio. At today's share price I see very little downside risk compared to upside reward potential.
BMK, yesterday investor interest appeared to pick up late in the trading session. Perhaps we are getting some drilling leakage news from the field? I see no reason why this stock shouldn't be trading at much higher share prices near term, as investors warm up to the fact the drill bit might do some talking shortly on this puppy. A few short term traders that I know, were loading up on this stock yesterday, on spec. Might be worth a shot for those with high risk tolerance in the short term.
FWR, amazing how this stock is starting to get some respect from investors. The distribution of Quest shares to current holders of FWR stock and the churning of the drill bit will keep investors interested in this puppy in the short term. The low $40 million market cap makes this a low risk play for those wanting a lottery ticket in McFaulds Lake. From looking at the old EM surveys from 2003, hard to imagine how the new one could be anything but a big plus for this stock.
PRB, investors have spoken and it doesn't look good for this stock. No respect, no interest. The volume tells all on this stock, just very few buyers at this level. Its the one I am avoiding like the plague because of the volume. Watch this will be the biggie in McFaulds Lake, it could very well happen. This is the long shot of all these stocks.
SPQ, many believe, with the large land position that this stock could do well. It seems one day people buy this stock like crazy then the next day interest wanes. At current share prices hard to see much downside risk on SPQ. For those betting on the basket approach of these stocks to lessen the risk, this is a must own puppy to be included in the basket. Too bad there are so many many outstanding shares as this scares some investors away. Personally, I like this stock.
Best of luck to all McFaulds Lake players today.
