Shorts, Daytraders and Low Vol

There really isn't anything to sweat about. As Al pointed out daytraders increase liquidity. Shorters are the same a 'longers' only they do it backwards. If you are big you can run the stock up to sell the longs just as easily as you can run it down to buy. Manipulation can take place either way, but the shorters seem to be more agressive and willing to take on more risk. Low vol doesn't bother me a bit these days. Whether the price moves up or down on this puny vol of under 400,000 shares is insignificant. It is what the SP does at 2 or 3M+ that makes me sit up and take notice. So it shows lack of interest, why not ? It will be a month on Thursday since we have had a PR on drilling or assay results so a lot of buyers are waiting in the weeds.

Think I'll have a single malt and think about next week or the week after when none of this will matter to any of us who held on or increased our positions.
