My take on NOT versus her brothers and sisters.

NOT has nickle and gold. Everyone knows this.

NOT traded at over $1.00 11 months ago. Today represents therefore about at 5X jump.

From their highest price this year, before the NOT discovery..

FNC is at a multiple of 15.
PRB is at a mutliple of 10.
BMK has a mulitple of 20 +.
UC? (imo - a GREAT buy. Only 5 cents higher then its low for the year.)

The area plays have promise. They have possibility, they have probability, all junior miners have this. How much probability 25%? 50%.

But for rational LONG TERM investment, NOT has it.

I have some area plays, so I'm not denegrading them. But I find it hard to understand why someone would prefer an area play over NOT at this weeks sale price of $4.00.

It has to do with day trading, right?

Because the long investor would be crazy to put their money in PRB or BMK or FNC and walk away for 6 months.

Not so with NOT. I think you can feel pretty comfortable that between Windfall and JB, she's going higher... and if you won't concede that, then at least not much lower.

So Not is my keeper and right now, FNC is my gamble. UC is my mid long term pick as well.

That's why NOT is my #1 lady. She's done well by me. I'm sticking with her.

As far as selling and buying her back, what Al says makes really good sense. But I know myself and I am terrible trying to do this. The stress is high. I know its part denial... (yes, I am losing money on the swings), but it works best for me to buy and hold when I find what I believe to be a great stock.

So have fun with the more speculative plays, but be careful. They can drop by 50% in 1 hour. Will you be at your computer? I don't feel I need to be with NOT.

Maybe some of the experienced day traders can tell us. When you go on vacation, or away for awhile, do you sell all your plays?
