Just checked the Asian indices for Mondays trading, yuck. The markets of the world are in a free-fall as the sub prime flu, spreads. In north America last week the indices looked very sick. Where ever you look everyone is calling for more pain and panic is rampant. Too much bearishness for me, I think the markets are oversold and will go on record at 6 am here and say I think we get a bounce today. Of course I have been wrong before. LOL

Now, back to what matters, McFaulds Lake and all our favourite stocks. All weekend I have heard rumours about NOT, the most prominent rumour says a major whats to take a piece of NOT. CVRD and Xstrata are the two names that I keep hearing. Although it makes sense that majors will soon want in, it does appear to be a little early in the game, but thats just my opinion.

Soon we should start hearing leaks about what the new EM surveys are showing. On NOT's nr last week we heard they have some of the early results in and are perusing them now. If we see an unusal pop in the share price of one or more of the area plays this week, we can assume the EM's have found something of interest. When the final report comes out I expect the big winner will be FNC. Peter Smith told me straight up he expects the Double Eagle project to end up with 2/3 rds of the deposit on Fancamp property. Peter is not the bs, rah rah hype kind of guy. Enough said, I have laid my money on FNC after talking to Peter.

Perhaps we get visuals from BMK this week? That would certainly renew interest in all the plays if they show anything of merit. Not sure what else of merit is supposed to occur this week in McFaulds Lake. Anyone know of something expected please let us know.
