12:39 PM EDT, 07/02/2019 (MT Newswires) -- Maya Gold & Silver (MYA.TO) on Tuesday said surface and underground sampling at its Azegour property in Morocco showed multi-metal mineralization.

The company said best results from 30 samples collected included 67 grams per tonne of silver, 13.75% copper and 0.77% zinc.

"The assay results show a high content of copper over 1.3% in five samples with a maximum of 13.75% from sample taken at level 1488," the company said in a release.

Maya shares were last seen unchanged at $1.90 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
