PRESS RELEASE MART RESOURCES, INC. August 19, 2008 MART RESOURCES RETAINS RENMARK FINANCIAL COMMUNICATIONS INC. CALGARY - Mart Resources, Inc. (“Mart”, TSX-V: MMT) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Renmark Financial Communications Inc. (“Renmark”) to provide Mart with investor relations services. Renmark, which will act as Mart’s investor relations representative but not as a market-maker, was founded in 1999, has offices in Montreal and Toronto and currently provides investor relations services to small, medium, and large cap public companies trading on all major North American exchanges. Renmark specializes in investor relations to existing and potential shareholders and to the retail financial community. “
We are pleased to announce that we have selected Renmark to reinforce Mart Resources’
profile in the financial community and enhance the visibility of our project portfolio. We chose Renmark because its standards and methodologies fit best with the message we wish to communicate to the investing public,
” noted David Parker, President of Mart Resources, Inc.
In consideration of the services to be provided, the Company has agreed to pay Renmark a monthly retainer of $7,000 for a one-year contract. The contract is subject to renewal upon mutual agreement between Mart and Renmark. Renmark does not have any interest, directly or indirectly, in Mart or its securities, or any right or intent to acquire such an interest.
