Take a look at the site I set up. Within the one message board, you can have separate forums - delineated by category. So there would be a MNKD forum, a biopharma forum, an off topic forum. Additionally, when there is a new post in a forum, a flag shows up - so you know there is something new. You don't even have to look at the categories that don't interest you.
