Well, let's see if Deerfield renigs on its funding confirmation - can't imagine that. Those guys have to know exactly what those results mean, or at least as exactly as anyone can know. That's a big deal they did with MNKD. I wish we knew on a scale of 1-10 how happy Deerfield is with these results - now, that would be worth knowing!

The amount of short traders (stock and options) that would have been in trouble had this stock stayed up around 8 was incredible. Still, there is no way to be absolutely sure about anything that anyone writes, but my view is all this negative noise is the way out for those traders. And make no mistake, this stock is traded by some big gamblers! All you have to do is see how many options are flying around out there. There are many unscrupulous people in our waters, both pumpers and poopers (not on this board).

We are seeing the way the developmental biotech trading game is played, and we're seeing it played on steriods. But remember this, it will happen again here, and in other similar stocks (pretty expensive tuition for a 48 hour course, isn't it!). Here, we happened to see one where the formula was pump it up prior (and it was pumped up, early and often, and successfully!), then knock it down - hard. I wish I had more conviction in my feeling that the market cap had gotten too high, I would have been selling more of the $9 and $10 calls instead of the $12 and $13 calls. Or just sold a bunch of warrants earlier in the week, but I was afraid that if I were wrong, I'd be stuck with a bunch of uncovered calls on a rising stock, which would have been the ultimate of turn a huge winner into disaster. Such a head game, like golf, which I also love. So much is in the mind.
