Thanks for the vote of confidence, but truthfully, I just don't have time to be writing articles.

Oramed will only ever be a basal insulin - it takes far longer than Afrezza to get into blood circulation . It will never compete with Afrezza, though it may someday compliment it. You always need a very small amount of insulin to be available as the liver will produce glucose when it's not available from meals. But you would not want excessive amounts of insulin to be present in the bloodstream.

Oramed's drug delivery must survive the acidic environment of the stomach and then release it's insulin in the small intestine. I do not know how this will be affected by meal size, alcohol, or any other factor. I do feel there are more variables when delivering drugs to the intestine than to the lungs.
