I had to listen to my know it all sister in law over the holidays explain why nobody would prescribe Afrezza once it was approved. The reason given was she knows a former Pfizer rep who had a grand total of 2 patients on Exubera in her territory.

"If dosing means life or death, why would I use a drug that can't deliver a known quantity of the drug to my bloodstream? Do you take in the same volume of oxygen every time you take a breath?"

I chose to try to preserve harmony in the house instead of getting into the merits of Afrezza over that failed approved drug Exubera.
